The one thing to know: the jobs show up wherever you paste the code. It works
exactly like embedding a YouTube video, paste the snippet where you want it, and
it appears there. That’s the whole idea.
Get your code
You need one line of code. The easiest way to get it, already filled in for a specific company, is from your dashboard:1
Open Companies
In your Kardow dashboard, go to Companies.
2
Click the embed icon
Find the company, and click the small
</> icon on their row.3
Copy the code
A window opens with the code ready to go. Click Copy. You can click
Preview first to see exactly which jobs will show.
data-company part.
Add it to your website
Pick your website builder and follow the steps. In every case, you are just pasting that one line where you want the jobs to appear.- WordPress
- Squarespace
- Wix
- Webflow
- Plain HTML
1
Edit your page
Open the page where you want the jobs (for example, your Careers page).
2
Add a Custom HTML block
Click the + button and choose Custom HTML. Drag the block to the
exact spot you want the jobs, between your other content.
3
Paste and update
Paste your line of code into the block and click Update. Done.
How it looks
The widget automatically matches your brand, your colors, logo, and fonts, straight from your Kardow settings. There is nothing to style. If you change your board’s look later, every website you embedded it on updates too.Where the applications go
Everything works like a normal application: it lands in your Kardow dashboard, with the resume and any custom questions. The only difference is it’s labeled Widget and records which website it came from, so you can see how many applications each site is sending you.Fine-tuning (optional)
You can ignore all of this. The one line already works. But if you want to filter the jobs or change the layout, add any of these to the code:Optional settings
Optional settings
For example, this shows the 6 most recent engineering jobs, with no search box:
Good to know
- Applying never makes people leave the website. They apply right there in a pop-up. They stay on your customer’s site the whole time.
- It works on any website where you can paste a snippet.
- Nothing to maintain. New jobs appear automatically, closed jobs disappear.
